The lovely family campsite Bella Austria is situated right in the heart of the province of Styria. Our mobile homes offer everything you need and the pitches are very spacious. The campsite is set on a hill at an altitude of 800 metres which gives you beautiful views of the surrounding hills and mountains. The local bakery delivers fresh bread to the campsite every morning. Why does bread taste so much better when you’re on holiday? Mmm!
The swimming pool on Bella Austria has a separate children’s pool. The campsite also has a beautiful field with comfy lounge chairs, a playground, a football field and a volleyball court. Fancy a little more relaxation? Pay a visit to the sauna or book yourself a massage. You’ll unwind without a doubt on your camping holiday in this lush green nature.
What activities can be done in Styria
Austria is known for its funiculars. Be sure to visit the Turracher Höhe where a funicular takes you to the top. Amazing how far you can see! At the top there is a playground and it’s the starting point of many hiking trails. You can also explore the area on horseback or mountainbike. Something different. Don’t really feel like being sporty today? Then go down the Nocky Flitzer toboggan run, which is a whopping 1,600 metres long, that runs through meadows and forests.
The village of Sankt Peter am Kammersberg, where the campsite is situated, also has a pool which is a bit bigger than the one on the campsite. Could be fun for a change – don’t forget to bring your towel. It’s 2 kilomtres to the centre of town, the perfect walking distance. There is much more to see and do in the area. For instance you can go and admire the Burgruine Steinschloß castle that sits on an altitude of 1180 metres. The village of Murau isn’t far either. Here you can visit the historical Holzmuseum, the brewery or you can take the Murtalbahn steam train. Tip: you can buy a Murtal-ticket at the campsite which gives you a discount on various tourist attractions in the area.
